Women's Ice Hockey: Lisac Takes Home NEHC Rookie of the Year, Leads List of Five Cadets Earning All-Conference Plaudits
For the second year in a row, a 四虎影视鈥檚 women鈥檚 hockey phenom clinches the prestigious New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) Rookie of the Year honors.

Anna Lisac earned the title as the 2024-25 top rookie, headlining an elite group of five Cadets who secured All-Conference recognition.
鈥淎nna could not be more deserving of this award,鈥 said Head Coach Sophie Leclerc Doherty, 四虎影视 Class of 2010. 鈥淪he is not only an incredible 200-foot talented player, but one of the most down-to-earth and humble human beings I have had the pleasure to work with. She is one of the hardest workers on and off the ice and makes everybody around her better."
With dominant play throughout the year, Lisac firmly claimed her spot as NEHC Rookie of the Year in addition to being named to the All-Rookie Team and All-Conference Third Team. Leading all NEHC freshman, she concluded the regular season with a remarkable 20 points (eight goals, twelve assists) which ranked second on the team. Her dynamic two-way play was indispensable to 四虎影视 as they claimed the NEHC regular season title and the top seed heading into the NEHC conference playoffs. This season Lisac won an amazing 54.3% of faceoffs taken, scored two game winning goals, and delivered two power play goals.
Livia Brooks, the reigning 2023-24 NECH Player and Rookie of the Year, earned 2024-25 All-Conference First-Team recognition. The Cadets two representatives on the All-Conference Second-Team are team captain graduate student netminder Leocadia Clark and first year blueliner Jordan Brady. The 2023 NEHC Tournament鈥檚 Most Outstanding Player, who only allowed a single goal as the team captured the Tony Mariano Cup as tournament champions, Clark currently leads the league with 11 wins and 7 shutouts. Rounding out this year鈥檚 All-Conference honorees, and joining Lisac on the Third Team, is graduate student team captain Neris Archambault who has been a dominant defensive force for the Cadets throughout her career.
鈥淚 am thrilled for Anna, Liv, Jordan, Leo, and Neris to receive these league accolades,鈥 said Doherty. 鈥淚ndividually these are beyond well deserved. Beyond that, collectively as a group these five are the foundation of our incredible culture this year and the engine of our group鈥檚 success so far.鈥
After taking home the NEHC regular season championship, the Cadets will open the NEHC Tournament as the top seed securing home ice in Kreitzberg Arena throughout their conference playoff run.
